It can insert itself into any other domain, or cut itself off entirely - although travellers with a talisman and a strong will can always find it. ![]() The Carnival is a travelling domain of dread, a demiplane that exists nowhere and anywhere at once, moving through the mists of the Shadowfell at the whim of its masters. The Carnival: Adventure Setting and Witchlight Expansion ![]() ![]() It consists of a thirty-two page booklet with an outer folder the module was written by Gary Gygax, with cover art by Jim Roslof and interior illustrations by Erol Otus. It was a box set consisting of three 64-page books, player handouts on 16 sheets, an 8-page Monstrous Compendium supplement, 8 referee reference cards. Jim Roslof, Karl Heinz-Meschbach, Paul Zmiewski, Skip Williamson, Jay Lynch, Peter Solt, and other 60s artists contributed to what was called one of the most beautiful underground press publications of its time. It was written by Carl Sargent and illustrated by Jeff Easley, Arnie Swekel, and Glen Michael Angus. Cover art was by Henry Higginbotham, with interior art by Kyle Anderson, Tom Baxa, Steven Belledin, Cris Dornaus, Wayne England, Jeremy Jarvis, Dennis Crabapple Mc. In 1995, TSR published the campaign adventure named “Night Below” for Advanced Dungeons and Dragons 2nd edition.
